NEWS FROM PASTOR MIKE

Our vision at Crossroads is to grow individually and collectively in worshipping God, evangelizing the lost, discipling believers, and demonstrating compassion.

I feel it is important to utilize this portion of our website to keep you up to date with information that pertains to our vision. Please feel free to check back periodically, and get updates on what is happening. Here are the current updates based on the four areas of vision

WORSHIP:

We are continuing to finish several building projects this summer. We will be finishing our landscaping, getting the parking lot finished and doing some work to our front signs.

Thank you for your continued giving to the building fund, it is a great blessing to be able to fund all of the needed building and grounds projects.

I want to thank Ashley Baker for stepping in as our new music director. Ashley is now responsible for all adult music ministry at Crossroads.

We look forward to beginning preparations for our Christmas Adult and Children’s Musicals. Our Children’s Program will be on December 23rd and our Adult Program will be on December 16th. We will have an all church cookout on December 23rd after the Children’s Program.

EVANGELISM:

I have shared my heart and vision regarding the evangelism of people that have never heard the gospel message. We have been very strategic in moving forward in supporting this vision.

In the last two months we have approved the support of two new missionaries to unreached people groups and we are continuing to move forward in partnering with those who are reaching unreached people with the word.

DISCIPLESHIP:

It is great to welcome Pastor Jason and Candace Brodhagen to our Crossroads ministry team. Pastor Jason has been very busy planning and organizing our fall youth and children’s programming. I am looking forward to a great start up this fall.

Currently our Wednesday night Bible Study is focused on the book of Revelation. Late this fall we will once again break out into men and women’s bible study groups.

COMPASSION:

I would like to thank the Creston Community Church for taking the leadership of Creston Salvation Army and taking this ministry to the next level. A big thanks to Pastor Garry, Lisa and the team for their many years of service.
