MEET OUR STAFF

 

MIKE BOGGS

Lead Pastor

Pastor Mike was raised in Orrville, Ohio and completed his ministerial coursework through Global University.  He and his wife, Lyn, were added to the staff as Associate Pastors in February 2004.  Mike became ordained in April 2007, and then in August 2010, he was elected Lead Pastor of our fellowship.   Mike enjoys playing the guitar, and listening to music.  Lyn was also raised in Orrville, and earned an Associates Degree in Mechanical Technology from the University of Akron, a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Malone University, and a Masters Degree in Career and Technical Education from Kent State University. She is a co-leader of Crossroads’ Women’s Ministries, plays bass in the worship band, and she really enjoys music, art, hot tea, candles and all things Celtic.  They now live in Seville, Ohio and have a daughter, Ashley, and a son-in-law, Ryan. LISA POSEY

Administrative Assistant

Lisa was raised in Smithville, Ohio and graduated from the Wayne County Schools Career Center where she focused on office skills.  She joined the staff at Crossroads in April 2005 as the Administrative Assistant.  Lisa is also in charge of coordinating the Nursery and the church cleaning staff.  She enjoys gardening, reading, scrap-booking, and genealogy.  Lisa and her husband, Tom now reside in Seville, Ohio.  They have 2 children, Nathan and Lauren. RYAN BAKER

Director of Imaging & Technical Arts, Webmaster

Ryan was raised in Wadsworth, Ohio, and is a graduate of the Ohio Center for Broadcasting.  He joined the staff in 2002 as the Technical Arts Director, then took on the roll of Imaging Director and Webmaster in 2010.  He is passionate about many branches of media, but especially enjoys graphic design and typography.  In his free time, Ryan likes to take his son on nature walks in the metro parks. He rarely has time to watch TV, but when he does it’s almost always a British comedy or period drama. Ryan now resides in Seville, Ohio with his wife, Ashley and son, Liam.

 
 
 

TIM SMITH

Lead IT

Tim was raised in Bluffton, Ohio.  He has three CompTIA IT certifications through Stark State College.  Tim joined our staff in 2009 as a Technical Arts Assistant; in 2014 he was made Lead IT while still filling in where he is needed in the Technical Arts department.  He enjoys photography, listening to music (especially movie soundtracks) and knot tying.  Tim currently lives in Wadsworth, Ohio.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

ASHLEY BAKER

Director of Music

Ashley was raised in Dalton, Ohio, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Choral Music Education from the University of Akron. She joined the staff in 2004 by working in the nursery, teaching children’s church and playing drums in the worship band.  Later in 2010, she became the Director of Special Music and Choir. Ashley currently leads our Sunday morning worship, directs the choir, and schedules all the special music performers. She enjoys singing, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Ashley lives in Seville, Ohio with her husband Ryan. They have a son, Liam.

TOM POSEY

Tom grew up moving up quite a bit during his childhood. He lived in cities like Cleveland and Strongsville and more rural areas like Coshocton and Hinckley. He graduated from Highland High School in Hinckley. Tom has a love for God’s Word and a desire to minister and help men build relationships with God and each other. He loves to hunt and fish, and has become a self-taught woodworker. Tom and his wife, Lisa, reside in Seville, OH. They have 2 children, Nathan and Lauren.

GINA METZGER

Gina was raised in Wadsworth, Ohio.  She is a graduate of Wadsworth High School and its cosmetology program.  Gina has a love for God’s Word and a desire to minister and build up women of God to their full potential.  These God-given desires, along with her teaching abilities, have resulted in her leading over 20 Bible Studies and speaking at various women’s events.  She enjoys spending time in the Word, decorating, shoes, and spending time with her family.  Gina and her husband Doug now reside in Seville, Ohio. They have 2 children, Olivia and Gabe.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

LYN BOGGS

Lyn is the wife of Pastor Mike.  She was raised in Orrville, and earned an Associates Degree in Mechanical Technology from the University of Akron, a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Malone University, and a Masters Degree in Career and Technical Education from Kent State University. Lyn and Pastor Mike were added to the staff in 2004 as Associate Pastors, and in 2010 he became Lead Pastor.  She has a strong passion for prayer and worship.  Lyn began the women’s ministries in 2010, and after teaming up with Gina, inHERitence Women’s Ministries was born.  Lyn also plays bass in the worship band, and really enjoys music, art, hot tea, candles, motorcycles and all things Celtic.  She and Pastor Mike have a daughter, Ashley and a son-in-law, Ryan.
