Our vision at Crossroads is to grow individually and collectively in worshipping God, evangelizing the lost, discipling believers, and demonstrating compassion.
I feel it is important to utilize this portion of our website to keep you up to date with information that pertains to our vision. Please feel free to check back periodically, and get updates on what is happening. Here are the current updates based on the four areas of vision.

  • Our building project is well under way. Feel free to take a look at the additions when you get the opportunity. If you would like a tour, just let me know and I will be happy to take you around and explain the plans.
  • The Family Life Center addition will be ready for drywall very soon and the builders are also getting ready to put the siding on both the additions.
  • We will be moving our worship services into the FLC during our construction and renovation of the sanctuary. This will probably take place the first part of May.
  • Many have asked about a completion date on our building project and I have been reluctant to set a specific date at this point. We will probably have everything wrapped up by the end of June or the first part of July.
  • Thank you for your continued giving to the building fund. We have been able to complete all the current work without using loan funds.
  • Please plan on joining us in the next few weeks for two important community events. We will have our community Good Friday service on Friday, April 14 and National Day of Prayer at Creston Park on May 4.

  • It was a privilege to have missionary Greg Owens with us on March 12. We are pleased to be partnering with Greg and Sarah and their ministry to South Africa.
  • We will be looking forward to having missionary Adrian Rosen with us on April 30. Adrian and his wife Stephanie are training pastors and church leaders in the Asia Pacific Region. We are pleased to be partnering with Adrian and Stephanie and their ministry.

  • I want to personally thank Tom Posey for accepting the role of Men’s Ministry Leader. Tom has already been hard at work planning some great things for the men at Crossroads. We look forward to our first Men’s Fellowship Night on April 13 and the Men’s Retreat in May.
  • The inHERitance Women’s Ministry will begin their new study on Hosea Sunday, April 2.

  • Pastor Garry, Lisa and the Salvation Army of Creston group continues to provide services to those who are in need. The food pantry operates every other Saturday.
  • Please feel free to join us in serving coffee, hot chocolate and water at the Creston 5K event on Saturday, April 22. We look forward in making new friends and serving our community.
