Crossroads began as a church plant from the First Assembly of God in Wadsworth, Ohio. Its first service was held on Easter Sunday of 2000. The church originally met in the Historic Seville Inn of Seville, Ohio. Pastor Dennis Woodruff served as Lead Pastor from its inception. In February 2004, Pastor Mike Boggs, and his wife Lyn, were added to the staff as Associate Pastors. As the church continued to grow, it was able to purchase 11.75 acres on State Route 3 and begin a building project. In May of 2005, Crossroads held its first service in the new facility pictured below.

As the church continued to grow, a need developed for a Family Life Center. Construction began in November 2009, and was completed in July 2010. On Sunday, July 11th, Superintendent Rev. John Wootton joined the congregation for the Family Life Center dedication.
In August 2010, Pastor Mike Boggs was elected Lead Pastor of the church. Pastor Garry Menke, and his wife Sheryl, were brought on staff in the same month as Associate Pastors.
